Can I change or cancel my order after I've placed it?
We process and ship orders very quickly. If you need to request a change or cancellation, please contact our support team at care@skenessentials.com immediately with the subject line "URGENT: Order Change" and your order number.
We will do our best to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee any changes once an order has been processed by our fulfillment team.
Can I change my shipping address after my order is placed?
We understand that mistakes can happen! Here is our policy on address changes:
- If Your Order Has Not Shipped: Please email our customer support team immediately at [your customer service email] with the subject line "URGENT: Address Change" and your order number. If we catch the order before it is processed by our fulfillment team, we will do our best to update the address for you. However, due to our fast processing times, we cannot guarantee this is possible.
 - Our Recommended Solution: If we are unable to edit the address in time, we can attempt to cancel your original order. This would allow you to place a new order with the correct shipping address. Please let us know in your email if you would like us to proceed with a cancellation if the address cannot be changed.
 - If Your Order Has Already Shipped: Once an order is in the hands of the shipping carrier, we unfortunately have no way to modify the address. We recommend using your tracking number to contact the carrier (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx) directly to inquire about intercepting or redirecting the package to the correct address.
 
To avoid any delivery issues, please take a moment to carefully review your shipping details before finalizing your order.
How long will one product last?
Our products are highly concentrated, and a little goes a very long way. We formulate them this way to provide great value and reduce waste. With regular use as directed, most of our customers find a single product lasts for at least 3 months, with many reporting up to 6 months of use.
In what order should I layer my products for the best results?
Layering is key! The general rule is to apply products from thinnest to thickest.
- (Sun) Daytime Regimen: Cleanse, Tone, Vitamin C Serum, and then Moisturizer/SPF.
 - (Moon) Nighttime Regimen: Cleanse, Exfoliate (2-3 times a week), Tone, Serums/Treatments, Eye Creme, and then Moisturizer.
 
Do your products help with hyperpigmentation and dark spots?
es. While we don't have one single "spot treatment," several of our products contain powerful, dermatologist-approved ingredients to help brighten your complexion and improve the appearance of discoloration over time.
- Our Day Restore Creme contains Niacinamide (Vitamin B3).
 - Our Vitamin C Glow Serum is a potent antioxidant.
 - Our AHA Peeling Concentrate help by exfoliating the skin.
 
When used together consistently, this trio is fantastic for promoting a clearer, more even skin tone.
What products are best for my skin type (oily, dry, combination)?
We have products designed for every skin type! We recommend visiting our blog post, "Layer Your Sken Care," which has a complete breakdown. As a quick guide:
- Oily Skin works beautifully with our Sensitive Face Wash, Nocturnal Cleanse, and Oil-Free Moisturizer.
 - Dry Skin loves our Micellar Cleansing Water, Vitamin C Glow Serum, Anti-Age Day Restore Creme, and Anti-Age Night Spa Moisturizer.
 - Combination Skin can use all of our products. The key is to treat different areas of your face accordingly (e.g., less moisturizer on your T-zone, more on dry patches).
 
Are SKËN Essentials products clean, vegan, and cruelty-free?
Yes. We are committed to creating products that are kind to your skin and the planet. Our formulas are ethically sourced, cruelty-free (we never test on animals), and made without parabens, sulfates, or other harmful fillers.
